Connecting Local Communities

Ramesh is one of the agents in our pilot with Airtel. This is his Kirana in the village of Mursan in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. Selling tobacco, sweets and toiletries as well as Airtel balance and SIM cards, the store is a small, new building on the outskirts of his village.

Ramesh is proud of his store and the work he does for Airtel. While 4G connectivity is great in Mursan, the village stills lacks other basic infrastructure. Power lines have run into the village centre, but supply is unreliable and many homes and shops, including Ramesh’s store, are still unconnected.

Now he has a BuffaloGrid Hub, he can keep his phone and the phone’s of people in his village charged throughout the day and well into the evening.

We’re proud to support Mukesh and his business through our work with Airtel. The BuffaloGrid Hub equips and empowers shop keepers, allowing them to offer something special to build real connections with their customers.

If you’d like to learn more about how your network of stores could benefit from a BuffaloGrid Hub, contact us today.
