Nearly 1 billion people lack access to reliable power, and yet an estimated 70 percent of the same people have access to a mobile phone. For many, getting their phone charged and connected to a network is a daily challenge. Without the ability to connect, these phone users are unable to take advantage of digital services that could improve their quality of life.
